Spicy Pears |

takes 25 minutes (with soaking etc.)

for 4 persons

Ingredients
4 large |
ripe pears, peeled, cored and cut into halves |
|
300 ml |
orange juice |
|
2 tsp |
cinnamon |
|
80 g |
Raisins |
|
2 tbs |
brown sugar |
|
|
Preparation
Put the pears into a large saucepan.
Add the spice, sugar and the raisins.
Pour the juice over it.
Bring the mixture to the boil for 1 minute.
Then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Remove the pears from the pan and put them on a serving plate.
Decorate with the hot syrup.
