Apple 'Cake'

Adapted from a school recipe.
8 oz Self raisingflour
4 oz Soya Margarine
4 oz Unbleached Sugar
1 lb Cooking Apples
Soya Milk

Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees C.
Grease a shallow baking tray.
Rub the margarine into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Peel, core and grate the apples.
Mix the apples and sugar with the mixture, add a little milk to make a firm but dry mixture.
Spread the mixture in the tray and bake for about half an hour.
Allow to cool, cut into squares and serve as cake.
